Quiz Help

If you are checking the blog page for information to help you with the quiz, you are in luck.
STEPS TO SOLVE VECTOR PROBLEMS
1. If vectors are going in the same direction, you add them.
2. If vectors are going in opposite direction, you find the difference.
3. If two vectors are at right angle to each other, you use the Pythagorean theorem to find resultant.
4. To find the components of a vectors, you use the cos and sin equations.
5. For multiple vectors, you need to use several steps. First examine the vector for directions. If the vector is at any angle other than 0, 90, 180, or 270; you need to use the component equations to break the vector apart. Second, you add the vectors in the same direction, then find the difference of the vectors in opposite directions. You are left with two numbers, those number are used in the Pythagorean theorem to find the resultant.
